Hi, I'm octopus0plus. Comedy often lives in the gap between high aspirations and lowbrow reality. In this episode, I wanted to contrast the 'Leadership Role'—a position of prestige and strategy—with the raw, biological reality of where the core 'Conducting' actually happens. Our protagonist believed his 'conducting' abilities were for leadership, but his environment requires literal energy conduction.

This Short focuses on that split-second of raw 'glitch'—the internal 'Conductivity Gluttony' where anticipation meets comical realization. I aimed to capture that internal chaos, turning a person's desire to lead into a high-stakes tactical energy collection challenge. The contrast between his expectations and his new automated routine is the focal point, celebrating the wild, unpredictable 'glitches' that make life interesting!

Concept: Concentric Gluttony

The core concept of this piece is 'Contextual Misinterpretation.' I aimed to visualize the raw, chaotic energy of the local wildlife offering a 'Glitch' in the farmer's formal scientific approach.

In the initial sketches, I focused heavily on character interaction and expressions, contrasting the customer's utter despair with the chef's well-meaning but unwelcome offering. The rough pencil lines and smudges are meant to capture the immediacy of the planning stage, reminding us all that sometimes, the kitchen intervenes!
