Hi, I'm octopus0plus. I've always been fascinated by how simple objects can trigger massive misunderstandings. In this video, I used birds to portray a classic 'suspected infidelity' drama, but with a hilarious twist.

When the suspicious husband bird finds a perfectly round, white "egg" (which we, as the audience, know is a golf ball), he immediately suspects a traitor in the nest. I wanted to capture the contrast between the bird's high-stakes emotional chaos and the mundane reality of a nearby golfer who just lost his ball in the trees. It’s a classic misinterpretation of a 'glitch' in their environment.

Concept: Tactical Interrogation

The core concept of this piece is 'Contextual Glitch.' I aimed to visualize the raw emotion of the husband bird and the strategic way he uses this 'mystery item' to confront his wife.

IDesigned in a raw, early conceptual sketch style, I focused on dynamic character expressions—the accusatory glare of the husband versus the confused anxiety of the wife. The rough lines and smudges create a sense of immediacy and tense energy, reminding us all that sometimes, the biggest threats come from things that just don't belong in our nest.
