どんな料理が出てきても、一口食べるなり「うまい！」と一言で済ませるお父さん。家族が「どう？味は？」と具体的に尋ねても、やはり「うまい」の連呼。たまに「うん、これもまたうまいな」と変化球を投げることもあるが、結局「うまい」に集約される。作った側はもっと具体的な感想が欲しいと思っているのに。
No matter what dish is served, Dad takes a bite and immediately says, "Delicious!" Even when his family asks specifically, "How is it? What about the taste?", he just repeats "Delicious." Occasionally, he might throw in a curveball like, "Hmm, this is also delicious," but it always boils down to "Delicious." The cook, meanwhile, wishes for more specific feedback.
