子供が幼稚園で作ったボロボロの工作、何かのイベントでもらったパンフレット、大昔の新聞…お父さんの「思い出の品」は、家族から見ればただのガラクタ。しかし、彼にとってはどれも大切な宝物で、「いつか使う」「これには歴史がある」と、捨てようとする家族を全力で阻止する。そして、それらは家のどこかの隅で静かに時を刻み続ける。

A tattered craft made by his child in kindergarten, a pamphlet from some long-ago event, an ancient newspaper… Dad's "sentimental items" are just junk in the family's eyes. But to him, they're all precious treasures, and he'll vehemently prevent his family from throwing them away, claiming, "I might use it someday," or "This has history." And so, they quietly continue to mark time in some corner of the house.
