Otaku A was dragged to a maid cafe by his friend. He’s been standing frozen in front of the entrance for 10 minutes already.

オタクA：「普通のカフェみたいに注文すればいいよね…？」
Otaku A: “I can just order like at a normal cafe, right…?”

彼は間違っていた。
He was wrong.

メイドちゃん：「おかえりなさいませ、ご主人様〜♪」
Maid-chan: “Welcome home, Master~♪”

オタクA：「え、あ、ただいま…？」
Otaku A: “Uh, ah, I’m… home…?”

オタクAの顔が瞬時に赤くなる。メイドちゃんは慣れている。
Otaku A’s face instantly turns red. The maid is used to this reaction.

メイドちゃん：「お飲み物はいかがですか〜？」
Maid-chan: “What would you like to drink~?”

オタクA：「コ、コーヒーで…」
Otaku A: “C-coffee please…”

メイドちゃん：「魔法をかけますよ〜♪ もえもえきゅん♪」
Maid-chan: “I’ll cast a spell on it~♪ Moe moe kyun♪”

オタクAは固まった。これが秋葉原文化である。
Otaku A froze completely. This is Akihabara culture.

オタクA：（小声で）「も…もえもえきゅん…」
Otaku A: (whispering) “M-moe moe kyun…”

彼は今日この日を境に、週3回通うことになる。
From this day forward, he would visit three times a week.
