中古フィギュア店「まんだらけ」。オタクAは今日も宝探しにやってきた。
Used figure store "Mandarake." Otaku A has come treasure hunting again today.

オタクA：「今日こそあのレアフィギュアが…」
Otaku A: "Today I'll finally find that rare figure..."

棚を一つ一つチェックしていく。これまで500回は来ているが、まだ諦めていない。
He checks each shelf one by one. He's been here 500 times, but hasn't given up yet.

オタクA：「あれ？これ見たことない箱だな…」

よく見ると、探していたフィギュアの限定版だった。しかも定価の半額。

手が震える。しかし、レジに向かう途中で他の客も同じ商品を狙っているのに気づく。

他の客：「あ、それ僕も見てたんですが…」
Other customer: "Oh, I was looking at that too..."

オタクA：「え？あ…え〜っと…」
