金曜日の夜。オタクAにクレジットカードの利用明細が届いた。
Friday night. Otaku A received his credit card statement.

オタクA：「今月の支払い額は…」
Otaku A: "This month's payment amount is..."

明細を見ると、フィギュア関連の支払いが8件。総額12万円。
Looking at the statement, there are 8 figure-related payments. Total amount: 120,000 yen.

オタクA：「うわああああ！忘れてた！」
Otaku A: "Ahhhhh! I forgot!"

半年前に予約したフィギュアたちが、同じ月に一斉に発売されていたのだ。
The figures he pre-ordered six months ago were all released in the same month.

オタクA：「あれも欲しかった、これも欲しかった…でもまとめて来ると…」
Otaku A: "I wanted that one, I wanted this one... but when they all come together..."

銀行残高を確認する。ギリギリ足りるが、来月の生活費が心配になる。
He checks his bank balance. It's barely enough, but he's worried about next month's living expenses.

オタクA：「キャンセルできないし…食費削るしかないか…」
Otaku A: "Can't cancel them... guess I'll have to cut food expenses..."

スマホを開くと、来月発売予定のフィギュアの予約開始通知が届いている。
Opening his phone, he sees a notification for pre-orders starting for next month's figure releases.

オタクA：「また予約したくなる…でもダメだ…我慢…我慢…」
Otaku A: "I want to pre-order again... but no... resist... resist..."

結局、「1体だけなら」と自分に言い聞かせて予約ボタンを押してしまう悲しきオタクサガ。
In the end, he tells himself "just one more" and presses the pre-order button - such is the sad otaku fate.
