Three friends headed to an old shrine deep in the mountains for a test of courage. This shrine, whispered by village elders to have been built to seal away "something unknown," is a place no one dares approach at night. As we climbed the stone steps, the smell of damp moss grew stronger, and the air felt thick and heavy. Reaching the top, we found an old, dusty mirror half-covered with tattered cloth in front of the main hall. Driven by curiosity, one of us lifted the cloth, revealing not our reflections but a pale-faced woman with hollow black eyes, grinning with a twisted smile. Frozen in fear, we heard a faint "rustle… rustle…" of leaves behind us, but no one was there. Suddenly, all our flashlights went out, and in the pitch-black darkness, we felt a cold hand touch our shoulders. Panicking, we fled down the mountain and barely escaped. Afterward, all three of us fell ill with an unexplained fever for a week. Later, an elder told us the shrine was built to honor those who vanished during the war, and the mirror sometimes reflects "something not of this world"…
